Celebrating Black History Month in 2022

In Black History Month 2022, The Salvation Army Midland Division showcased the art works of Christopher Green, "Beyond the Wall," that feature paintings of important and memorable African American people of the greater St. Louis region and nation, via social media posts.

These artworks were done for Better Family Inc., and are housed along a stretch of Page Blvd. between Kingshighway and Union Blvds. in urban St. Louis on vacated house fronts, painted on wood, often covering windows and doors.
