People need hope. You can help meet the greatest need today.

The Salvation Army evaluates every local community and strives to meet the greatest need in each. With your help, we can turn underserved areas into thriving, flourishing communities. Whether it's providing shelter, feeding programs, domestic abuse programs, or addiction recovery: with your support, we will be there today, tomorrow, and until the healing is complete.

The Salvation Army isn't just here for a few days - they're here for the long haul

The Salvation Army is committed to providing the help that is needed for those who need it most.

The Salvation Army meets the greatest need in our community by making Christmas possible.

Red Kettles

The iconic Salvation Army red kettles signal the start of the holiday season. Donations collected in these buckets support the services in your neighborhood. Bell ringers are both seasonal employees and volunteers. For information about volunteering to ring bells or to sign up to ring, visit Register to Ring now.

Angel Tree Registration & Christmas Meal Distribution

When you're struggling financially to care for your family, holiday gifts are often not feasible. The Salvation Army Angel Tree program allows donors to purchase gifts for families in need, making their holidays brighter. Be an angel for a family in need this Christmas.

Information regarding Christmas Registration & Distribution in Quincy & Hannibal is posted to our stories page.

Holiday Meals

The Salvation Army provides Thanksgiving and Christmas meals for families unable to create a special meal themselves. We host homemade dinners at our facility and provide a Christmas dinner box to struggling families. Each box feeds a family of four/six and includes meat, potatoes, veggies/fruit, dessert, and more. (Box content may change from year to year). Information regarding holiday meals is posted to our stories page.
