LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS DOUBLE THE IMPACT OF SALVATION ARMY'S KETTLE DONATIONS
December 20 is set to be a day of generosity and doubled impact, thanks to a collaborative effort between Benson Financial Group in Hannibal and The Tracy Family Foundation of Quincy. On this special day, these two organizations will match every $20 bill dropped into The Salvation Army's kettles in Hannibal (up to $1,000) and Quincy (up to $1,500). This matching opportunity allows the community to maximize their giving power and make a meaningful difference during the holiday season.
Matt Schmidt, Development Director for The Salvation Army, shared his excitement: "This partnership with Benson Financial Group and The Tracy Family Foundation highlights the incredible generosity of our local communities. By simply donating a $20 bill on December 20, individuals can double the impact of their gift and help us bring hope to those in need during this critical time."
The Salvation Army is currently raising money to reach the $440,000 goal in Quincy and $125,000 goal in Hannibal. Community support remains essential to closing the gap and ensuring continued funding for vital programs and services in Adams, Pike, and Brown counties in Illinois and Marion, Ralls, Lewis, Monroe, and Shelby counties in Missouri.
