MUDDY RIVER RIDERS AND GREAT RIVER CORVETTE CLUB PLAN HOLIDAY TOY RIDE
The Muddy River Riders and Great River Corvette Club have organized a Holiday Toy Ride to benefit The Salvation Army’s 2023 Angel Tree Program.
This Holiday Toy Ride will start at 11:30am on Saturday, December 9, when the riders will gather at Smith Brothers Powersports, located at 5101 Oak Street in Quincy. The motorcycles and Corvettes will ride in “parade formation” down Broadway to The Kroc Center at 405 Vermont. Each rider (and passenger) will present a toy to Salvation Army officials for the Angel Tree Program, which provides toys and basic necessities for families in need.
Toys for children of all ages are being collected through December 8. Donations to the Holiday Toy Ride can be dropped off at Smith Brothers Powersports during regular business hours. Smith Brothers is also an Angel Tree location; customers can stop by and choose a tag from the tree.
