MUDDY RIVER RIDERS AND GREAT RIVER CORVETTE CLUB PLAN HOLIDAY TOY RIDE
The Muddy River Riders and the Great River Corvette Club are teaming up to spread holiday cheer through their annual Holiday Toy Ride, benefiting The Salvation Army’s 2024 Angel Tree Program.
The event starts at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 7, as participants gather at Smith Brothers Powersports, located at 5101 Oak Street in Quincy. Motorcycles and Corvettes will form a festive parade, cruising down Broadway before arriving at The Kroc Center, 405 Vermont Street. At the conclusion of the ride, each participant will donate a toy to Salvation Army representatives, supporting families in need this holiday season.
The Angel Tree Program provides toys and essential items for children and senior citizens. Community members are encouraged to contribute by donating toys through December 11. Donations can be dropped off during business hours at Smith Brothers Powersports, which also serves as an official Angel Tree location. Shoppers can select a tag from the tree to support a specific child in need or visit SalvationArmyQuincy.org to learn more.
