THE SALVATION ARMY OF HANNIBAL ANNOUNCES CONCLUSION OF THE 2024 CHRISTMAS CAMPAIGN
The Salvation Army of Hannibal is excited to share the outstanding success of its 2024 Red Kettle Christmas Campaign, which exceeded the initial fundraising goal of $125,000 by raising a record-breaking total of $142,695.
This year’s campaign was led by Chairs Jen and Shad Terrill and Shelby and Kassondra Terrill, who played a vital role in rallying community support to make a meaningful impact.
The Red Kettle Christmas Campaign is The Salvation Army’s largest annual fundraising effort, providing critical funding for programs and services that support individuals and families in Hannibal and surrounding Northeast Missouri communities—not only during the holiday season but all year long.
Recognizing the ongoing need for assistance in the Hannibal area, The Salvation Army remains committed to serving the community. This holiday season alone, The Salvation Army of Hannibal distributed 700 food boxes containing full Christmas meals to families and senior adults across Marion, Ralls, Lewis, Monroe, Shelby, and Pike counties. Additionally, in partnership with Toys for Tots of Northeast Missouri, 1,536 children received Christmas gifts, helping to spread joy and holiday cheer.
The Salvation Army extends heartfelt gratitude to the many individuals, groups, organizations, and businesses that generously contributed food, toys, time, and financial support to make the 2024 Christmas Campaign successful.
