THE SALVATION ARMY OF HANNIBAL TO BRING POPULAR BUCKET BLITZ TO SHELBINA ON DECEMBER 4
The Salvation Army of Hannibal is excited to bring its beloved Bucket Blitz to Shelbina on Wednesday, December 4. Bell ringers will be stationed at the four-way stop at Highway 15 and Business 36 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., inviting the community to help make a difference this holiday season.
Proceeds from the Red Kettle Campaign directly support vital programs and services that provide assistance to neighbors in need in the counties of Marion, Ralls, Lewis, Monroe, and Shelby in Missouri. In 2023, The Salvation Army of Hannibal made a meaningful impact in the community by:
- 4,252 individuals received assistance.
- 1,987 food boxes were distributed.
- 25 families received utility assistance.
- 23 families received rent assistance.
- 507 items of clothing were provided.
During the 2023 Christmas season alone:
- 788 families received Christmas food boxes.
- 1,519 children received toys through a partnership with Toys for Tots of Northeast Missouri
