THE SALVATION ARMY TO SERVE A FREE COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS DINNER

The Salvation Army will serve a free Community Christmas Dinner on Christmas Day, Wednesday, December 25, from 11am to 12:30 pm. The dinner will be held at The Kroc Center located at 405 Vermont Street in Quincy. No reservations are required this year.

For those who are homebound, The Salvation Army will offer meal deliveries to shut-ins in Quincy, with a limited number of meals per household. To schedule a delivery, recipients are asked to provide their name, address, and the number of meals needed by calling Dylan Altmix at 217-231-5655.

Those wishing to make a financial contribution to support the Christmas Dinner may mail a check to The Salvation Army at PO Box 75, Quincy, IL 62306-0075.

Volunteers play a crucial role in making this event special. Community members interested in lending a hand are encouraged to contact Dylan at 217-231-5655 to learn more about volunteer opportunities.
