UNMASKING THE SINGER FAN FAVORITE REVEALED FRIDAY NIGHT AT ANNUAL FUNDRAISER

Apr 29, 2024

The Salvation Army Quincy Area Command unmasked Ben Dombroski as the Fan Favorite at the organization's fundraiser, Unmasking the Singer. This unique head-to-head singing competition, where Quincy and Hannibal area celebrities/community members donned mascot costumes - and sang for votes, was held Friday, April 26. This year's event was a fun-filled night of raising money for The Salvation Army to continue to provide shelter to people experiencing homelessness in Quincy and Hannibal. The organization also recognized Craig Industries and Quincy Brewing Company as the 2024 Business Partner of the Year.

"Unmasking the Singer is one of our favorite fundraising events," stated Donor Relations Coordinator Chad Douglas. "Every year, our contestants dedicate their time and talents to help The Salvation Army raise money to fight against homelessness in our community, and it's touching to see. With each passing year, the support and enthusiasm for this event grows, and we're honored to be able to use this platform to highlight a growing need in our community."

While the event may be over, the fundraising has just begun! The seven contestants (Jessica Sublette, Cory Combs, Elise Scoggin, Mandar Dighe, Morgan Widmer, Raquel Sparrow, and Ben Dombroski) will continue to raise funds for The Salvation Army through May 5. Donations can be made at bit.ly/UMTS24topfundraiser. All online fundraising will stop at midnight on Sunday, May 5. The Top Fundraising Award winner will be presented during the week of May 6.
