By providing programs that serve the body, mind and soul, The Salvation Army helps alleviate the symptoms of poverty - and works to address the root issues that cause it.
The Family Services Offices in both Quincy and Hannibal strive to bring about positive change in the lives of those who are touched through our services. In working with individuals on a case by case basis, needs are assessed and the best service possible is provided with available resources. Clients are given the opportunity to participate in church services as well as other Salvation Army programs. Other agencies are involved, through referrals, to assist in meeting the overall needs of the client. Everyone is treated with dignity and without discrimination. They are given guidance and support to assist them in leading a self-sufficient life to the betterment of their families and our community.
