"Reimagine 75: Fashion with a cause" Designer
WHO: Lindenwood U. student, 2023 expected graduation, with focus on fashion business and entrepreneurship. By day, LU’s Fashion Society Editor-in-Chief. By night, a bartender and server. I enjoy sewing, designing clothes, and creating fashion content on social media. Chesterfield native.
STYLE: A beloved boss gave me my first sewing machine a few years ago. I fell in love The Designers 2 with designing, creating, and repurposing clothes. Besides Lindenwood’s fashion program, I attribute my design education to countless hours of “trial and error,” YouTube tutorials, and instruction manuals. I am very lucky to be in an industry that encourages creativity and individualism.
INSPIRATIONS: Every day, I am inspired by my talented peers and instructors to continue pursuing my dreams of working in the fashion industry. My mom is a fashion inspiration, who has always had a great sense of style and instilled in me an appreciation for fashion. Some of my favorite memories are from the two of us picking out a dress for every school dance.
