Help The Salvation Army Do The Most Good this Christmas Season by getting involved with us as an individual, group, or company through our Tree of Lights, Bell Ringing, and Angel Tree events, fundraising and volunteer opportunities. Review the sections below to discover ways to engage and celebrate with The Salvation Army during the 2022 Christmas Season!

75th Tree of Lights

Our Salvation Army 75th Tree of Lights is here!

The Tree of Lights Campaign is a historic tradition that rings in the Christmas season throughout the region. This year, we celebrate our 75th Tree of Lights. This very special anniversary showcases the dedication and generosity of our region to make St. Louis a community where everyone has opportunity and access to vital resources.

Visit our 75 Trees of Lights page to see fun, unique Christmas trees all over the greater St. Louis Region. Take a picture at the trees and share them on your social media channels, with the hashtag #TOLSTL75!

75th Tree of Lights sponsorship opportunities: Contact Daron Hendrix, Greater St. Louis Development Director, by phone at (314) 399-6115, or send an email to Daron.Hendrix@usc.salvationarmy.org

The Salvation Army invites you to participate in our Red Kettle Campaign! Help us fundraise during the holiday season in these ways:

1.Volunteer your time to ring bells at an in-person kettle

2.Mix it up and go online! Invite family, friends, co-workers, employees, customers, an more to donate to your online campaign

Money raised through this campaign and our Red Kettles goes directly back to programs in your community!

Angel Tree

    ADOPT AN ANGEL

                 ANGEL TREE VOLUNTEER WORK

     ANGEL TREE DONATION

The easiest way to get involved in the Angel Tree program is to adopt an Angel! Angels (youth) will be available to be adopted on the Angel Tree website beginning on October. Choose your Angel, and you'll be given the child's:

  • name
  • age
  • gender
  • clothing sizes
  • items on their needs/wish lists

Shop for your Angel in-person or online to fill the child's Christmas wishes.

You can also volunteer with us for Angel Tree!

Gift Organizing & Packing: In October and November, volunteers assist in quality checking and organizing the bags of gifts for their distribution to the Angels.

Gifts Pick-Up Day: When gifts are bagged and ready to go, volunteers are needed to distribute and gift the items to the Angels!

Individuals, groups, coworkers and families are welcome to spend time volunteering with The Salvation Army for either of these Angel Tree work opportunities.

Visit the St. Louis Salvation Army Angel Tree website to adopt an Angel, family, or volunteer to help us package the gifts.
