How We Use Your Gifts
We want you to feel confident that we are making the best use of the resources you've given to The Salvation Army.
We pride ourselves on minimizing costs to maintain a high-percentage of donations that directly flow into programs - 86 cents per dollar
(national average for The Salvation Army is 82 cents per dollar).
When you designate your donation to a disaster through The Salvation Army, 100% of your gift will go to the affected area to support disaster response, relief, and recovery efforts. Our annual report shows how we've been good stewards of the resources given to us by members of the public.
