Partners in Doing the Most Good

The Salvation Army has changed lives and given hope to countless people throughout the nation. But it never does it alone.

The Salvation Army values volunteers. Volunteers are life changing partners with the Salvation Army Mt. Clemens Corps. Right now we have five groups and eight volunteers who partners with us in meeting the needs in our community. However, we are always open in receiving more volunteers; who are willing to help meet humans’ needs without discrimination.

Seasonal: Bell ringers - We cover over 35 locations and are looking for groups as well as individuals who are want to raise funds that are used to meet the needs in our community. We are ringing bells Monday through Saturday from 9:00am - 7:30pm. Sign up at registertoring.com. Seasonal: Holiday Toy shop assistants December 12-15 - We need volunteers for setting up, sorting, distribution, and clean up. The times are from 9:00am - 12:00pm; 1:00pm - 3:00pm. For more information please call 586-469-6712.

Community Feeding Program: We are in need of group volunteers to prepare and cook lunch for our lunch program Monday through Friday @ 12:00pm. Groups are encouraged to bring 2 gallons of milk and to anticipate to start preparation at 10:00am. We asked that interested volunteers contact Korienna Cox for more information at 586-469-6712

Custodian Work: We are in need of volunteers to help clean and organize our Day Center for the homeless. The Day center operates Monday through Friday from 8:30am - 3:00pm. We need willing workers between the hours of 2:30pm - 3:30pm to clean, sanitize, set up tables and chairs to prepare for the next day. Please call 586-469-6712.
