The Salvation Army is excited to partner with Jewel-Osco for a special month-long donation event this February. As Jewel-Osco’s charity partner, The Salvation Army can receive donations from thoughtful customers every time they check out through February 29.
Imagine worrying about your next meal or not knowing if you can feed your children tonight. Unfortunately, that’s the reality many of our neighbors face every day. At The Salvation Army, we work tirelessly to find solutions for those in our community.
By choosing to donate at the register, you can be the reason a child has food on their plate tonight. Jewel-Osco and The Salvation Army are working to ensure people across local communities have access to food, shelter, and hope all year long.
Whether it’s a hot meal, a warm bed, or help buying groceries, families across the state need you. Every time you check out at Jewel-Osco, you can select you can be a hero in someone’s life by choosing to give $1, $3, or $5 that will go directly to help a family in your community.
“The Salvation Army, Jewel-Osco partnership funds the programs that help people all year,” said Major Caleb Senn, Chicago Area Commander. “Together with Jewel-Osco, we will continue to tackle the ongoing concerns in our community, including food insecurity and homelessness.”
In 2022, the North and Central Illinois Division provided nearly one million meals and over 160,000 bags of groceries to your neighbors in need. This support would not be possible without the support of Jewel-Osco and its millions of customers across the state.
