Salvation Army Expands Support to Flooded Areas in Northern Illinois
The Salvation Army has expanded its service of flooded areas to include Lake and McHenry counties. Army personnel and volunteers are serving meals, snacks and beverages to first responders and volunteers filling sandbags. We’re also onsite to provide food boxes, personal care packages and clean-up kits throughout the area.
The Salvation Army has also been coordinating efforts with the Lake County Illinois Office of Emergency Management to serve those most affected by the unprecedented flooding. Residents in Lake County can visit the following locations to pick up clean-up kits, water, food boxes and hygiene kits to help in their recovery efforts.
