IL Mandated Reporter Training
The purpose of the Illinois Mandated Reporter online training is to help IL employees and volunteers understand their critical role in protecting children by recognizing and reporting child abuse. In accordance with the law, The Salvation Army North and Central Illinois Division requires volunteers in select positions to complete this training starting March 12, 2021.
To ensure safety of youth who engage with The Salvation Army, we require this training be completed by anyone who will be volunteering directly with youth (under 18).

Safe From Harm Online Refresher Courses
The Safe From Harm program is a comprehensive Salvation Army program designed for the implementation of policies related to child and vulnerable adult protection. All new officers, employees, and standard volunteers are required to take in-person Safe From Harm training. Safe From Harm Certification expires after 4 years and needs to be renewed.
