Spiritual Ministry
When you think of the South Minneapolis Salvation Army, you might picture red kettles or our thrift store. Yet most people don’t realize we are a Christian church. We meet people’s physical needs and heal souls through our spiritual ministry – by sharing the love of Jesus Christ and the promise of salvation. We want to help you explore what it means to have a personal relationship with God.
Start your Sunday mornings with us! Come learn about God and His love for us through prayer, singing and Biblical messages. We begin the morning with a coffee fellowship at 9:30 a.m., follow by Sunday school at 10 a.m. and a worship service at 11 a.m.
We will meet regularly to worship one true God, welcome everyone who enters our doors with the love of Christ, actively pursue lasting relationships, and build God’s kingdom one person at a time by providing opportunities for service that flow out of hearts filled with grace.
Join us for Bible study and fellowship Mondays at 5:30 p.m.
This women’s ministry meets every Tuesday at 10 a.m. for a time of fellowship. Women of all ages and interests enjoy a variety of activities including crafts, guest speakers, devotions, and trips. Call 612-721-1513 to learn how to get involved.
Kids are precious in God’s eyes. That’s why we have an entire night dedicated to teaching them about God’s love. Kids are invited to join us Wednesday nights from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for a night of fun and learning that starts with dinner and includes crafts, games, character building and music training.
