Utility Assistance

HeatShare is a Salvation Army Program that provides emergency utility assistance for people with no place left to turn. The program is funded in part by Salvation Army donors, local utility companies, and their customers (donate online). Funds are typically used to pay for natural gas, oil, propane and electricity.

Our HeatShare program is offered at most Salvation Army centers in Minnesota. Please call the HeatShare hotline at 1-800-842-7279 for the office that serves your area.

The Salvation Army is an administrator of the Gas Affordability Program (GAP) which provides qualifying Great Plains natural gas company customers assistance with their gas bill. View the GAP program details to get help.
