About Cliff Levingston
Cliff Levingston always preferred to stay behind the scenes. As a player, he hauled down rebounds and used his stifling defense to shut down opponents while making game-changing plays. Levingston has played with and against legends like Magic, Bird, Barkley and Jordan. But Levingston’s biggest successes aren’t only on the court. Don’t miss his compelling story of determination to win at all costs-on the hardwood and at life.
About The Spaniels Forever
The Spaniels were the first artist signed to Vee-Jay Records, the ground-breaking independent African-American owned record label that eventually paved the way for Motown Records. The Spaniels recorded “Baby It’s You” in 1953 and it reached #10 on Billboard’s R&B chart. They are best known for the hit “Goodnight, Sweetheart, Goodnight.” The Spaniels performer line-up has evolved through the decades, so the group was aptly renamed The Spaniels Forever, as they continue singing classic Spaniels’ hits and other songs in four-part harmony.
About Strack & Van Til
Inspired by the idea of creating a modern supermarket, Ernie Strack and Nick Van Til acquired a 10-acre piece of land in Highland, Indiana to build their dream. More than 50 years later Strack & Van Til grocery stores are a cornerstone of communities throughout Northwest Indiana and Illinois. The Salvation Army will be honoring the Strack & Van Til organization for their community service and philanthropic leadership throughout Lake County, Indiana.
