Annual Adopt A Family Radiothon Gives Families Something to Celebrate at Christmas

Nov 30, 2022

The annual drive to make sure no child goes without Christmas is underway in Omaha – but we still need your help to MAKE IT HAPPEN!

In its 23rd year, The Salvation Army’s Annual Adopt A Family Radiothon – which runs this Thursday and Friday, Dec. 1-2 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. – connects people from our community with those in need during the Christmas season.

Presented by Corwin Toyota of Bellevue and Hy-Vee, the Radiothon runs live on Star 104.5 FM. The Salvation Army welcomes Terri McCormick back as this year’s host, and the event is set to be held at Westroads Mall near Flagship Commons.

Please call 402-898-6050 between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on both days to ensure families have a Merry Christmas.

The Radiothon invites people from the Omaha Metro to call in, adopt a family or a senior and provide gifts as well as a food coupon to them so they can celebrate over the holidays.

With more than 2,000 families and seniors from the community registered this year, YOUR HELP IS NEEEDED!

If you’d like to get a HEAD START, you can  CLICK HERE to Adopt A Family now!

QUESTIONS? Please call The Salvation Army of Omaha’s sponsor hotline at 402-898-5888 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday.

We look forward to taking your calls this Thursday and Friday!
