The Salvation Army Launches Ringer Rewards on Nov. 15
Ringing bells at The Salvation Army’s iconic red kettles during the holiday season to help raise funds for people in need is reward enough, but The Salvation Army of Omaha is offering a little extra incentive to sweeten the deal this year.
For each completed two-hour bell-ringing shift, volunteers will automatically be entered into a Ringer Rewards drawing for a chance to win a prize sponsored by a local business, retail store or restaurants.
Ringer Rewards launches Monday, Nov. 15. and concludes on Wednesday, Dec. 29 (bell ringing itself concludes Christmas Eve).
Prizes include:
Gift cards and gift baskets from Hy-Vee, Baker’s, Family Fare, Fareway, Hobby Lobby, Walmart, Genesis Health and The Salvation Army Kroc Center;
Gifts from Nebraska Furniture Mart and Borsheims;
Restaurant gift cards (to be announced later).
Winners will be announced on the following days:
Nov. 17, 26, 27, 29 and 30.
Dec. 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 15, 22 and 29.
