With flood-relief work now moving into the long-term recovery phase across most of The Salvation Army Western Division’s three-state area, the Sarpy-Cass Disaster Resource Center's (DRC) operating hours are changing.

Starting the week of May 5, the Sarpy-Cass DRC (located in the old JC Penney store at the south end of Southroads Mall, 1001 Fort Crook Road, Suite 250, Bellevue) will be open three days per week during the following hours:

·    Thursdays: 1 – 6 p.m.
·    Fridays: 1 – 6 p.m.
·    Saturdays: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

The Sarpy-Cass DRC is currently in need of more volunteers to staff the center during its hours of operation. Please call 402-898-6050 to volunteer.

The second metro-area DRC, the Council Bluffs DRC (715 N. 16th St.), also remains open with the following hours:

·    Mondays and Thursdays: 12 p.m. – 7 p.m.
·    Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays: 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
·    Saturdays: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
·    Sundays: closed

Both DRCs will remain in operation until further notice.
