The Weekly Devotion for the Week of May 13

May 10, 2024

The constancy of Jesus stands as an immovable rock upon which we anchor our faith.

In a world where relationships falter – and trust is often betrayed – we find solace in the steadfast love of our Savior.  His faithfulness endures through every trial; His mercy knows no bounds; His grace remains freely available to all who seek it.

Amidst the chaos of history, Jesus remains unchanged.  His teachings remain as relevant today as they were two thousand years ago.  His message of love, forgiveness, and redemption transcends the barriers of time and culture, offering hope to all who are willing to receive it.

True contentment is not found in wealth but in the abundance of God’s grace.  As we trust in God’s faithfulness and provision, our hearts are liberated from the grip of anxiety and greed, finding joy and fulfillment in the sufficiency of God’s blessing.

In our own lives, we may encounter seasons of joy and seasons of sorrow, moments of triumph and moments of despair.  Yet, in every circumstance, we can find comfort in the unchanging character of the Lord.  He is our constant companion, walking with us through the valleys and over the mountaintops, sustaining us with His presence and His peace.

Our hope is grounded in the eternal promises of God, secured for us through the sacrificial love of Jesus.  He who was, and is, and is to come holds the keys to everlasting life, offering us a future filled with the glory of His presence.

May we live our lives seeking to emulate the unchanging love and grace of the Lord in all we do.
