How We #LoveBeyond Poverty
Inflation is hitting people’s budgets hard this year. And now, the holidays are rapidly approaching…while prices for almost everything in the store have gone up. That means Christmas gifts will be budget-busters for families in need all over the metro.
Here at The Salvation Army, we’re doing all we can to meet the needs of hardworking families Omaha, in Council Bluffs, and the surrounding area—especially with Christmastime right around the corner. Last year, 3,350 local families enjoyed holiday gifts and meals on Christmas morning thanks to our programs. Our local toy-giveaway efforts distributed more than 12,000 toys to area kids who might otherwise have gone without.
Outstanding support from the local community made that possible. Now, we need that support again this year.
