Volunteers Needed!
As National Volunteer Month rolls on, we want to remind everyone that we’re always looking for volunteers to help out around the Omaha metro—no matter what the season!
In 2022, more than 700 people actively volunteered for The Salvation Army in the Omaha area, doing everything from ringing bells at Red Kettles to stuffing backpacks with school supplies to serving holiday meals to homebound seniors and much, much more. Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do to serve those in need; we literally could not do what we do without them.
Signing up is easy! Volunteering for The Salvation Army can be accomplished by going to our online portal. As soon as your application is filled out, you can sign up to volunteer. (Some jobs, such as those working with children, require a background check.)
