Our Army of Volunteers
Employees from Brewers Distributing Company collected hygiene items and non-perishable food items to prepare personal hygiene kits and food pantry bags for The Salvation Army.
The personal hygiene kits benefit those men, women and children who seek help through the Sylvia Fites Men’s Shelter or the Family Shelter. Hunger continues to be a growing issue in our community. The food bags these volunteers put together helped stock our food pantry shelves to support our weekly food distribution program. It is because of volunteers, like those at Brewers Distributing, that we are able to continue to provide food, shelter and personal hygiene items to those in need in the Peoria community.
