CHANGING LIVES IS A GROUP EFFORT
We dont always know where to go or who to turn to for help. Every year we meet people who have lost their hope and faith. They come with anything from one basic need to a laundry list of challenges and we go into action. Serving others through The Salvation Army is the most rewarding experience I can imagine because within this organization there are people, regular people from the community, that step in and assist just when its needed. That changes ones perspective and instills Hope. Support given in revenue or relationship, is GOLD
The range of need is incomprehensible. As we start each day we have no idea if we are about to meet a person struggling to keep their eyes open or if their heart has grown cold. If we are able to bring light into a situation or just a smile to a neighbor we can get delight from that. Struggling people need HOPE. We plan to dispense it wherever possible.
