Thank You, Winnebago County

Jan 15, 2024

Thank you, Winnebago County.
We'd like to express our gratitude to the residents of Winnebago County for your support and donations this past holiday season. With so many in our community struggling to get by financially, your kindness and generosity proved that hope indeed marches on.

Our guiding theme throughout 2023 was "Everything Counts." Each dollar, every donated toy, and each act of kindness found its purpose. Your collective generosity not only symbolized the spirit of the season but also sustains our ongoing efforts. Every coin donated to our Red Kettles will stay local and provide critical assistance year-round to those who need it most.

Because of your support during the past year:

  • 4,370 families received food assistance through our Food Pantry
  • 1,742 children received toys during the Christmas season
  • 174 months of utility assistance and 68 months of rental assistance were provided—helping families stay in their homes

None of this would be possible without the unwavering support from our community. Every act of kindness, every donation, and every volunteer hour made a difference when it mattered the most. Everything Counted.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. We are proud and honored to serve this wonderful community.
