The holidays are tough for families who can't afford a meal or gifts during Christmas. With the help of donors, The Salvation Army provides Christmas food baskets and gifts for children in need. The Salvation Army provides emergency assistance to help with rent, utility bills, and other needs to keep families safely in their homes. For more information, please call 815-972-1135.

Pathway of Hope is a supportive program for families with at least one child under the age of 18 who are ready to take action to improve their future. Community services combined with a network of support to build a strong and self-reliant family. There’s never been a better day to take the first step. A healthier future is possible! The Salvation Army's food pantry serves the Rockford/Winnebago County area. Items provided include shelf-stable pantry foods, bread, cereals, meat, produce, dairy, and other household necessities. For more information, visit our Social Services page or call 815-972-1135 to make an appointment. The pantry is currently located at Rockford Temple Corps (500 S Rockford Ave, Rockford, IL).

Tuesday: 9 a.m. to noon, 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. 
Wednesday: 9 a.m. to noon, 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. 
Thursday: 9 a.m. to noon, 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.  
Friday: 9 a.m. to noon, 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. 
Saturday: CLOSED
Sunday: CLOSED
