A comprehensive case management system to help families identify barriers to self-sufficiency (unemployment, insecure housing, lack of job skills, lack of childcare, etc), Pathway of Hope also provides guidance on how to address these barriers, and connects families with community support organizations, and more.
The Salvation Army Friday Night Patrol provides food and hygiene products to those who are homeless or at-risk of becoming homeless in our community. Distributions are every Friday night at the Winnebago County Jail and the Crusader Clinic. To volunteer or drop off donations, please call 815.962.7207.
The Salvation Army Social Services Center's food pantry provides shelf-stable pantry items, breads, cereals, meat and other household necessities. The pantry is open Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. For more information, please call 815.972.1135.
The holidays are tough for families who can't afford a meal or gifts during Christmas. With the help of donors who adopt children or entire families, The Salvation Army provides Christmas dinners and gifts for families in need.
