We Are an Organization Dedicated to Doing the Most Good in your community.

Programs & Services

SOCIAL SERVICES – Walk-ins or appointments are welcome for all social service assistance. Services include food pantry (Monday thru Friday: 9 am to 12 pm and 1 to 4 pm), rent and utility assistance, eye exams and glasses (limited), and clothing vouchers (referrals only).
Required documentation: Bring photo ID for head of household, identification cards for everyone in the household, and proof of county residency (address on a current bill or lease).

*Community Meal Program – Basic human needs are met through a nutritious, hot meal every Monday-Friday from 4 to 5 pm. Meals are FREE and community resource information is available for other services provided in the city of Salina.

*Emergency assistance – We provide Emergency Assistance (EA) on-site and by referral from another agency or professional organization.
Emergency day shelter for the homeless. Warming center in winter and cooling center in the summer.

*Disaster Relief – The Salvation Army staff and volunteers are often the first on the scene and the last to leave. Whether it’s a devastating house fire, life-shattering tornado, gas explosion, or months of intense flooding, we offer drinks, food, a warm blanket, shelter, emotional spiritual care, assistance with clean-up, tracking down loved ones, finding additional help, and sometimes just offering a comforting presence when it's needed most.

*Summer Camps – Plans are currently being discussed to host 2021 Summer Camps at Three Trails! Check the camp's website for updates. We can provide transportation after registration to Three Trails Camp located at 16200 E US Hwy 40, Kansas City, Mo.

Community Center – Recreational programs for children, teens, and adults.
Men’s and Women’s Ministry, Youth Programs, open gym times, Volleyball, Archery

Clothing vouchers – Monday thru Friday 9 am to 12 pm and 1 to 3 pm for men, women, and children, case by case

Food Pantry – Monday thru Friday, 9 am to 12 pm and 1 to 4 pm.

Rent Assistance – Case-by-case assistance as funds are available

Utility Assistance – Case-by-case assistance as funds are available

Eye Exams and Eyeglasses – limited-service per month

10:30 am to 12 pm: United Worship Services (servicio de adoración unido (bilingüe)

1 to 2 pm: Produce distribution

1 pm Men’s Ministry (Bi-lingual)
