Pantry Services
The Social Services department offers emergency food and hygiene, assistance to Vigo County residents living at or below 150% of the federal poverty line. Life can be full of challenging situations. We are here to assists people through these situations. It is our goal to help fight food insecurity in the Vigo County Community.
Included with the Salvation Army food pantry, we also have a hygiene closet which supplies toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, bodywash, detergent and much more… With many situations in Vigo County, we are fortunate to receive the help we do from other organizations. Our pantries are open every Wednesday , but we are also the call-center for other pantries different days throughout the week. This information is listed at the bottom.
IMPORTANT – Any resident from Vigo County is invited. Some pantry services require registration with The Salvation Army. Anyone interested in registering can contact the Salvation Army for details on registration process. (812) 232-4081
