Social Services – Walk-ins or appointments are welcome for all social service assistance. Services include food pantry (Call 785.233.9648 for times) rent and utility assistance, prescriptions, eye exams and glasses (limited) and clothing vouchers (referrals only).

Required documentation: Bring photo ID for head of household, social security cards for everyone in the household, and proof of residency (address on a current bill or lease).

Community Meal Program – Basic human needs are met through a nutritious, hot meal every Monday-Friday from Noon to 1:00 PM. Meals are FREE and community resource information is available for other services provided in the city of Topeka.

Disaster Relief – Salvation Army staff and volunteers are often the first on the scene and the last to leave. Whether it’s a devastating house fire, life shattering tornado, gas explosion or months of intense flooding, we offer drinks, food, a warm blanket, shelter, assistance with clean-up, tracking down loved ones, finding additional help and sometimes just offering a comforting presence when its needed most.
