Free Thanksgiving meals in Minnesota, North Dakota
You are invited to eat a free Thanksgiving dinner at Salvation Army locations in the Twin Cities, Greater Minnesota and North Dakota. Everyone is welcome, no questions asked.
The meals will be served on or before Thanksgiving Day. Exact meal dates and locations are at bottom.
A special thank you to Blue Door Pub for providing the majority of the food needed for our Thanksgiving meals in the Twin Cities, including meals served to the public and for people enrolled in our housing and rehabilitation programs.
“The Salvation Army wishes everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving,” said Lt. Col. Dan Jennings, leader of The Salvation Army Northern Division. “May God bless all of you and your time spent with family and friends.”
Thanksgiving is also a great time to support The Salvation Army. You can help by donating, signing up to volunteer, or registering to ring bells at a Red Kettle. Your generosity will help The Salvation Army to provide food, shelter and care for local families in need. Here is more on that topic from Minnesota Vikings wide receiver K.J. Osborn:

This holiday season, The Salvation Army is calling on all of our supporters to Love Beyond. #LoveBeyond is a national Salvation Army campaign that encourages people to put love above all else, in order to show families in need that love exists beyond their most difficult situations – be it hunger, overdue bills, eviction, addiction, and other hardships. Join us by giving a donation, signing up to volunteer, or ringing bells at a Red Kettle.
