Adopt a Virtual Angel Online Today!

Can you imagine waking up as a child on Christmas morning with no presents under the tree? For some families struggling financially, that is a reality. The Salvation Army’s Christmas assistance is available for families that have difficulty with the added expense of providing gifts for their children for their Christmas celebration. With the gifts, we help raise spirits and provide connection, tradition, and hope to families. The Salvation Army will serve THOUSANDS of children in Sedgwick County with presents this holiday season.  We can’t do this without you!   Would you consider purchasing gifts for an local child this Christmas?

By selecting an angel, you will be providing gifts to a child in need this Christmas season. The child’s Christmas wishes are listed on the angel. We ask that you purchase two gifts for the child/angel, with each gift around the $25 range for a total of around $50.  Gifts should be unwrapped (not in wrapping paper) so parents can see what the gifts are. 

Selecting angels online from a virtual tree

Angels are now available on our virtual website:  https://salarmywichita.theangelgivingtree.org/ 

• Each gift needs to have the child’s name and code very securely attached to the gift. 
• All gifts from the virtual tree need to be returned by December 6th. Gifts selected from the virtual tree can be taken to the main lobby at The Salvation Army at 350 N. Market during the following hours: 8:30 am-12 pm and 12;30 pm-4:15 pm. 
• To select an angel, go to our virtual angel tree at:  https://salarmywichita.theangelgivingtree.org/ 
• You will be asked to sign in (if you adopted an angel from this site in the past) or create a brief profile as a new user.  It’s very easy to do! 

Selecting angels or stars from a store or mall location

Angel Trees will also be available at area malls, Walmart stores and Sam’s Club stores.  Angel and star gifts can be returned to the same store/location you selected an angel from.  Please make sure you are securely attaching the child’s name and code to each gift.  For your convenience, the angels are perforated so one half can be taped/attached to each of the two gifts for the child.  Angel and star gifts should be returned to the store by Dec. 7.

Starting November 29th, Angel Trees will be at both mall locations: 

• Towne East Square (on upper level, located near the interior Dillard's entrance)
• Towne West Square (located near the JCPenney entrance)
