Christmas and Angel Tree opportunities now available!
Volunteers are critical to these processes! Can you volunteer for a shift or two to help families in need during this holiday season. Sign up with a friend and volunteer together! Each and every shift helps!
Christmas Applications–October 16–November 15-various shifts at 350 N. Market from 9:45 am-3:15 pm. Volunteers will be answering phones in an office setting and taking clients’ information over the phone to complete their application for Christmas assistance. No evenings or weekends.
Data entry positions/administrative work—October 19-November 30-various shifts at 350 N. Market from 9:30 am-4:30 pm. Volunteers are needed to input Christmas applications into a database and complete a variety of tasks related to our Christmas application process.
Angel Tree volunteer opportunities
Mall tree/table set ups: Assist in setting up for Angel tree at both malls, placing angels on the tree, ensure there are bags, tape, sign in sheets available for use.
Place angels on Wal-Mart trees: Go to multiple Wal-Marts in the Wichita area to place angels on the trees prior to the start of the holiday weekend.
Angel Tree West Mall volunteer table: Volunteer at the table located in the mall for people shopping for Angel gifts. Receive and tag gifts to be transported. The hours are: 10-7
Angel Tree East Mall volunteer table: Volunteer at the table located in the mall for people shopping for Angel gifts. Receive and tag gifts to be transported. The hours are: 10-8 Monday to Thursday/10-9 Fri and Sat/12-6 Sun
Toy pick-up at various Wal-Marts: Go to various Walmart's in the Wichita area to pick up donated toys and gifts and take them to the warehouse.
