The Salvation Army Angel Trees Are Now in Walmart’s & Malls
Wichita, Kansas —
The Angel Tree program allows individuals and families to play a role in making the holidays brighter for local residents facing challenges. To participate, community members are invited to visit any participating Walmart or mall in Wichita and select an Angel tag from the specially designated Angel Trees.
Each Angel tag represents a child in the Wichita community, along with their holiday wish list. Generous contributors can then purchase the gifts for the child described on the tag. The process is simple, yet the impact is profound, as these gifts bring joy and warmth to families during the holiday season.
Once the Angel Tree gifts have been purchased, contributors are encouraged to return the unwrapped items, along with the attached Angel tag, to the same location where they selected the tag. The Salvation Army will then distribute the gifts to the intended family in time for the holidays from our distribution center.
The Salvation Army extends its gratitude to all of the Walmart’s, malls, and other locations throughout Wichita for their ongoing support and commitment to making the holidays special for the Wichita community.
