Warm Hearts Coat Distribution and Christmas Assistance Begins
NOTICE - OUR DISTRIBUTION HAS BEEN EXTENDED AT ALL SALVATION ARMY LOCATIONS (listed below). SAME TIMES MONDAY OCTOBER 24 THROUGH FRIDAY, OCTOBER 28
WICHITA, KS (October 14, 2022) – The Salvation Army South Central Area Command will open the opportunity to apply for Christmas Assistance and begin the distribution of winter clothing to our community. In addition, this year we are partnering to offer coats and winter items at Wichita Park & Recreation facilities listed below.
Warm Hearts Distribution of coats and winter wear will be offered from October 17-28th, at all Salvation Army locations including:
Downtown Koch Center, 350 N Market St. Downtown Wichita – 10 am to 3 pm
Citadel Corps Community Center, 1739 S. Elpyco – 10 am to 3 pm
West Orchard Community Center, 1910 S Everett – 10 am to 3 pm
PARKS AND RECREATION LOCATIONS - NOT INCLUDED IN THE EXTENDED DISTRIBUTION: We appreciate the Parks and Recreation Community center participating this past week.
Items available will include coats, sweaters and blankets. While supplies last, quantities are limited to items available, and limits may apply. Families are asked to provide ID’s for everyone in their household.
