Through programs like Angel Tree, Adopt-a-Family, family gift baskets, and others, The Salvation Army works to make sure that children in every family circumstance have a reason for joy on Christmas morning and hope through each new year.
Businesses and organizations are invited to sign up to host an Angel Tree site and collect toys to help us brighten the holidays for families in need.
Large community meals on holidays like Thanksgiving gives everyone a chance to experience the warmth of good food and friendly conversation.
Especially during the holiday season, needed assistance with everyday problems can help a family have the hope they need to start the new year. The Salvation Army assists families with temporal needs by providing food, utility, rent, and other assistance. Through our holistic approach to serving the whole person, we supplement every service with emotional and spiritual support.
