That's why we provide fun, enriching opportunities for kids of all ages to learn and thrive.

Making a Lasting Impact

Studies show that kids and teens with positive role models in their lives consistently demonstrate better behavior, stronger academic performance and higher self-esteem than those without similar influencers.

Our youth programs offer the opportunity for young kids and teens to engage with positive adult mentors as well as enjoy activities that build their character, enrich their minds, spark their creativity and help them grow up to become thriving adults.

How We Empower Youth

Kids Club  |  Tuesdays at 5 p.m., including dinner
Our character building classes offer the opportunity for kids to develop strong communication and leadership skills, grow their minds, and explore God's Word, all while having fun and connecting with their peers. Classes include:

  • Sunbeams - girls in first through fifth grades
  • Girl Guards - girls in sixth through 12th grades
  • Adventure Corps - boys in first through 12th grades

Junior Soldiers  |  Sundays at 11:30 a.m.
The aim of the Junior Soldier program is to ensure that children involved in The Salvation Army have personally received Jesus Christ as their Savior and are discipled in biblical truths, life applications, and Salvation Army principles and practices. Junior Soldiers are the youngest members of The Salvation Army.

Corps Cadets  |  Mondays at 5 p.m.
Pre-teen and teens who are enrolled as Junior Soldiers are also invited to participate in Corps Cadets, a training program and discipleship course focusing on spiritual growth, leadership development, growing their knowledge of Salvation Army history and evangelism training.
