We are celebrating our 135th Anniversary in 2021
Beginning above a shoe store on what is now Michigan Ave, The Salvation Army of Kalamazoo began serving our neighbors in need in 1886. While the decades have passed, we still provide spiritual support, emergency groceries, utility assistance, children's and seniors' programming and emergency disaster assistance in our community.
Each year, several thousand individuals and families come to The Salvation Army of Kalamazoo for help and we pray we are able to provide that help for the next 135 years as well.
