Red Kettles still Relevant in a Cashless Society

Carrying cash seems less and less necessary when shopping today with even small stores able to have debit and credit card machines.  But that doesn't mean the red kettles are going to disappear.  All kettle signs now come equipped with a NFC tag and QR code reader so shoppers can make an easy donation with their Google Pay or Apple Pay account.  Newer phones can literally just bump the sign with their phone and be taken to the online donation page, or the sign can be scanned with the QR code.  Watch the video below to see how easy it is:
