CHRISTMAS IN JULY RED KETTLE CAMPAIGN GOES VIRTUAL 
The celebration of miracles, hope, family and community happens every day in our community, not just during the Christmas season. We have seen it clearly throughout COVID 19 – neighbors opening their hearts, embracing and uplifting those who are struggling to care for themselves and their families through their support. In uncertain times, Hope Stands Strong! We invite you to stand strong with The Salvation Army Traverse City by showing your support during our annual Christmas in July Red Kettle Campaign. For the health and safety of volunteers and the community this year our campaign has gone virtual. Show your support by volunteering to virtually Bell Ring by setting up a virtual Red Kettle or donating to our virtual Red Kettle.
The Christmas in July Red Kettle Campaign raises awareness of year round programs and raises critical funds to allow The Salvation Army Traverse City to feed hungry hearts and souls, assist with utilities, help individuals and families stay in their homes, provide area children and youth build strong character, help families break the cycle of poverty one step at a time through the Pathway of Hope program and meet critical and emergency needs of our neighbors during their time of need. Need knows No Season.
We remain committed to fulfilling the increased demand of our critical services to our neighbors who are struggling, whether they were already in need, or if the rippling effects of the COVID-19 crisis pushes them into economic hardship. The Salvation Army will be here to help our community members meet the challenges they face in the coming weeks and months ahead.
All funds raised at the Red Kettles stay local, for local programs, to help local individuals and families.
