Homeless Diversion and Emergency Assistance Programs
The Salvation Army provides emergency assistance to help with mortgage/rent/utility/clothing/medication bills and other needs in order to keep families in their homes. For more information or support, call the Aurora Corps Community Center or the emergency assistance hotline 773.205.3520.
Pathway of Hope Case Support (Poverty Diversion Program)
A comprehensive case management system to help families identify barriers to self-sufficiency (unemployment, insecure housing, lack of job skills, lack of childcare, etc.) and ways to address them by connecting with community support organizations and more.
