The Salvation Army of Bay City is Matching COVID-19 Relief Effort Donations up to $15,000

Apr 17, 2020

BAY CITY, Mich., (April 17, 2020) — All donations made to support The Salvation Army of Bay City’s COVID-19 relief efforts will be matched, dollar-for-dollar up to $15,000 due to the generosity of an anonymous donor.

This opportunity means all donations will make twice as much of a difference in the lives of individuals and families who already struggle to afford the basics, let alone additional supplies and medical expenses. In a great display of generosity, COPOCO Community Credit Union challenges Bay County Credit Unions and Banks to match their $500 donation to our $15,000 match between now and April 30.

Individuals can support The Salvation Army’s efforts through monetary donations by:

The Salvation Army anticipates a significant increase in emergency assistance needs for low-wage employees facing layoffs, limited hours, childcare challenges and more. To combat this, the nonprofit has ramped up efforts to support its community.
