I never felt accepted.
Because of the previous hurt, I had grown to despise the church. I felt judged and ridiculed by others who claimed to be Christains. The Salvation Army showed me what unconditional love was. They introduced me to Jesus.
How we help share God's love
We believe ministry goes beyond Sunday morning service. Here are a few unique ways we show God's love to others:
Thursday Night Meals
On Thursday nights, join us as we serve a free meal, hosting an average of 70 individuals every week!
Rent & Utility Assistance
We're able to provide rent and utility assistance to families that find themselves in a hard spot financially.
Summer Programs
We host summer day camps for our local youth to allow them to have fun, while also learning about God's love. In addition, we open our corps to allow a cool place for the homeless to get out of the heat, take showers, and have a meal.
