How we help cure hunger

The Salvation Army Food Pantry provides a two to three day supply of emergency food to neighborhood individuals and families who are hungry. The food is given on the day it is requested and represents breakfast, lunch, and dinner for all members of the household. Those receiving food are also informed about how they can participate in supplemental food programs so they can move beyond visiting charity food pantries.

Our current geographic service area includes residents of Dickinson County. We serve between 23,000-25,000 meals annually.

Services Include:

  • Case Assessments
  • Food Distribution
  • Referrals
