Every day The Salvation Army helps cure hunger by providing nutritious meals to neighbors in need.
At The Salvation Army, we know that food insecurity is a reality for thousands of local families. In addition to offering free lunch and snacks to school-aged children in our community over the summer, we are also a monthly food box distribution site for low-income seniors, as well as offering a weekly food pantry. Please click on the links for additional information about those programs.
COVID-19 (Coronavirus) UPDATE: Our facility is currently closed to the public and the food pantry has transitioned to a drive-though model. Guests are asked to pull up to the front door to present their punch card (first-time guests will be asked to provide a photo ID (passport or anything with your name, date of birth, and address). Thank you for your understanding as we strive to keep our staff, volunteers, and guests safe!
Donations to our pantry are always needed. If you would like to drop off frozen foods, non-perishable foods, household items (toilet paper, diapers, wipes, etc.), or monetary donations, please come by during normal business hours (Monday - Thursday, 9:00a - 5:00p, or Friday, 9:00a - 12:00p), or give us a call to arrange a mutually convenient drop-off time. Thank you for supporting our ministry and helping us battle hunger on the west side of Indy!
