The Salvation Army has changed lives and given hope to countless people throughout the nation. But it never does it alone.
Your help matters. Every day, we provide compassionate support, a listening ear and practical help to people in our community who are vulnerable or in need. Volunteers are the ‘army’ of compassion that makes our work possible.
Every time you volunteer with us, whether it’s seasonal, once a week, every day or anything in between; the valuable life skills and experience you share make Fond du Lac a better place.
Year round, we have opportunities for volunteers in our food pantry, thrift store, administration offices, and family services and the committees that structure our service. Additionally, we have special opportunities in Summer and Fall; in Winter and at Christmas. You can volunteer to host fundraisers and collections to help also!
Volunteering is a powerful experience. Learn more about volunteering from our volunteers! Hear from our volunteers and read about Kara, a Marian University student whose volunteer experience turned into more than she planned. Read about Caleb, the 7 year-old who created two collections for us.
