We Bring Relief To those facing hunger in Knox County
- Food Pantry - Being ready to serve all who come to our door is part of The Salvation Army mission. Here in Knox County we take this further and work to give humanity with our food pantry. We give families and individuals a choice from our shelves and allow them to regain control in their lives by making their own decision. With our food pantry you don't just receive a hand out, you are given the groceries you want with our support. Answering hunger's call doesn't have to mean losing self-esteem and with our help it you won't have to make this sacrifice.
Monday - Thursday: 9:00 A.M. - 11:45 A.M. & 1:00 P.M. - 2:30 P.M.
Friday - 9:00 A.M. - 11:45 A.M.
- Meal Programs - The physical needs of hunger can easily be filled, but in order to do the most good The Salvation Army strives to meet the spiritual needs as well. Our on-site meal programs are held anywhere: in shelters, kitchens, churches, or otherwise, and they all work towards the same goal of establishing a connection with someone and helping restore their dignity and hope. More than a meal, we want to offer everyone a chance to be heard and reminded that they are loved.
